It doesn’t have to be for someone else. It can be something for yourself. The key is that you cannot tell anyone about it. Not a soul. Not even your best friend who you go to bed with every night and wake up to every morning. Nobody.

soul secrets

The secrets are strictly between you and your soul. I can’t logically explain what these secrets do, but the first word to come to mind is magic. You just have to believe, really believe, in stuff like karma and doors opening to tenacious faith. Your soul will exhale with such satisfaction that you’ll crave more life-changing soul secrets.

I debated for a second or two which entity the “secret” should belong to: the spirit or the soul. I considered that the spirit is who you are. It’s, to me, that 50/50 blend of nature and nurture. And though it can be likened to another’s spirit, it’s uniquely your own. The soul, on the other hand, is the immortal part of you. It’s borrowed, having belonged to your great-great grandmother’s great-great grandmother. It lives on and gives life.

So, I decided that the types of secrets that I’m referring to most definitely belongs to the soul. The soul, by definition, is empathetic and appreciative. As my friend Margaret suggested, “Saying thank you is not gratitude. Feeling thanks is.”

And that’s because feeling is a function of the soul. It’s something that you can’t control. If you try to, then you’ll end up effing up your mental and emotional balance. Soul-stuff don’t go out of style. That’s because you feel it, and soul secrets are definitely something you feel. Personally, I can’t get enough of it.
